Arizona State Museum

Decent price and really nice staff, the idea of the museum is nice aswell.nI really liked the aquarium.

This museum on the University of Arizona campus currently has an exhibit tracing the history of weaving textiles and baskets from roughly 4000BC to the present. It is very interesting as it traces the evolution of textiles and basketry from utilitarian to an art form. The focus is upon the Native American tribes in Arizona. The exhibit is suitable for children and adults. It's easy to spend 2-3 hours looking at the exhibits and reading the interpretive information. The museum also has an interesting display of Native American pottery.While you are on campus you should also visit the USS Arizona Memorial located in the quad behind Old Main. It is a sober reminder of the tragedy of December 8, 1941.

Amazing displays and open to the public. Loved all the amazing native artifacts.
