Ponderosa Lodge

Went here after Christmas in 2007 with my family. I was 8 years old. We stayed in the 12 occupancy lodge. I’ll never forget the green carpet, the long hall or the wood walls. It was the most wonderful experience of my life. I loved the gorgeous views and I’ll never forget our first night there where my cousins and I watched high school musical in front of the fireplace cause we were cold after tubing down the giant hill next door that you could do. My mother went here back in the 1990s with our family before I was born and enjoyed it as well. Thank y’all for existing and giving me a memory I have loved for years. I plan on coming back for my honeymoon with my soon to be husband in February 2021.

You will thoroughly enjoy your stay at the Ponderosa lodge and Red river NM. We are coming back next summer.

Our room did not have air conditioning. But a great experience for sure!

I love the staff they are great. Great location. We we went it was still cold at night and the free fire wood made for great nights by the fireplace.
