Rio Grande Balloons

My husband and I booked this as our first time hot air balloon ride and a major bucket list item for me. We had an amazing experience! Sol was a great captain and made us feel completely comfortable flying with him! We got to see the whole process from start to finish and the ride couldn’t have been more perfect. One of the highlights of our trip. I honestly think the price is cheap for all the work involved. We flew over the gorge and then higher and got to experience some breathtaking views. Sol took some pictures for us, and his crew (who were also great!) took some other pictures from the ground so we could just enjoy the experience. We got to listen to some history and have a fun champagne toast after the ride as well. If you are thinking about booking, just do it!! Fantastic from start to finish! The pilot, Sol, and crew, Mike and Michael, could not have been more enjoyable. Instructions were clear and Sol was extremely knowledgeable, answering questions and providing ‘fun facts’ about the area. Calm winds made for a buttery smooth flight and landing. Loved the champagne toast at the end as well as the photos and videos Mike took from the ground during ‘lift off’ and flight. It’s an experience my husband and I will remember for a lifetime and I’m glad we got to share it with this crew.

It was an AMAZING experience I’ll never forget, unless I get Alzheimer’s but hopefully that won’t happen for a very long time. The owner Sol, his beautiful wife Erica (such a beautiful lady) and ground crew helper was so professional and great ud83dudc4dud83cudffb. Wow! What an incredible adventure! From the amazing crew to the breathtaking views, the entire experience was exceptional. It was a perfect morning to fly down the gorge... even got a good laugh as we flew over the hot springs. Sol did a great job, he and his crew were very professional and personable. From the pickup, to the hot air balloon ride, to the champagne toast at the end, the entire adventure was seamless. I would highly recommend them!
