PHVR Powderhorn Vacation Rentals

The condo was great, we stayed in 303. Walking distance to everything. We were a family of 5. 1st room had a king bed with TV and bathroom. The 2nd room had a TV and a double bed, the living room had a pullout sofa and our 10 and 7 year old slept on that. There was also a second bathroom. NO laundry, but a service was available for $10 per laundry bag.nWe had 2 issues as soon as we walked in, one of the toilets didn't flush and one of the TVs did not work right. The maintenance lady Kim was on it and she took care of it the very next day. Thank you Kim.nThe condo had plenty of games and a great view for a fantastic family vacation.nWish there was ESPN during this bowl season to watch the games.nnCons:Make sure you're prepared to shovel out snow to park your car, and again when you're ready to leave. Also, make sure you have a 4 wheel drive to be able to pull in to unload your luggage.nnOverall, we had a great time.

It's not their fault but the Powderhorn was blocked off by lots of construction making it difficult to access the entrance by foot (we had to park far away). We didn't know it was going to be like that until we arrived. Aside from the construction, the Powderhorn was quiet and pleasant. Our room was fine.

Enjoyed the stay and recommend this place.nnReason why I rate with a single star is that they call me in 11am of the last day and said that I have to get out by 10am, and rushed me get out ASAP; I rushed myself and actually out 11:30am. And they called me again while I was on the road back home and said they will charge $40 dollars for house keepers standby. I didn't argue, and just said that I really enjoyed the stay but you just ruined my good feelings. I granted the charge, and hung up.nnPlease don't get me wrong. They probably stated in the email that I have to get out by 10am. But, I've never had this issue with any other hospitalities.

Excellent place. Thom is a rock star and stayed late to greet us. Definitely will be back.
