Battle Mountain Raceway

Attended the races last night . It was the third stop of the Northern NV mod racing tour. First of all for a race track in the middle of actual nowhere, this facility is top notch. Watching the family I am assuming run/own this place, know what they are doing. The track was prepped and ready to go at the stated race time. The races began within a few minutes of advertised time. The show moved quickly. At the intermission there were bags and bags of goodies like candy, playdough, activity packs thrown from the race tower to all of the children and some of the adults in attendance. We drove from Las Vegas which is about 7-8 hrs away stopping at two other tracks along the way. Of these we will definitely make the trip back to support this track in the future. Awesome night of racing Saturday night! Unfortunately the lights went out Friday night. Remaining heat races & features were ran Saturday afternoon. Fun & hot.
