Went in tonight to get some ice cream and ended up with a bowl of soup. I don’t know if it’s just the incompetence of today’s youth but when you work at a ice cream store you give ice cream not just a bowl of cream. And I can honestly tell coldstone has no care about this issue I will not be going back to another cold stone ever again. If you are in Draper drive a little more East there’s a much better ice cream store.

The ice cream was fine but I wish I had noticed the hand scrawled sign taped on the front window, I would not have patronized the business. One of the employees (Lucas) was using Cold Stone as a personal fundraiser to bail out the thieving, violent criminals who were destroying and stealing public and private property and injuring police officers the night before. The sign was begging Cold Stone customers for donations which Lucas promised to use to release criminals back onto the streets.

Tried to get some ice cream at 8:35 pm on Sunday. I still had 25 min before their advertised closing time. When I walked in they told me they were closed for a special event. Even though none of the employees could tell me what that event was. Furthermore, the other employees were cleaning. While people were still in the lobby. I watched them do this to two other couples right after us. Special event or want to go home early? Don’t expect to get ice cream if you are there to close to closing time.

Cold stone is one of our favorite date night and family night places. We moved last year out to the Draper area and have given this location several chances. Last night we waited over 5 minutes for someone to appear from the back. I honestly think the biggest issue is that it is dirty. The last two times we have gone it has smelled like mildew. I don't know if they are using old mop water, leaving rags out or not properly cleaning the ice cream area (I really hope it is not that).The floor is black and gooey and everything just feels dirty. That is a huge problem for a food place. We will not be going back to this location.

This is a really good Ice Creamery. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff is amazing. It has been a while since I ate here last, and I was taken back by how patient they were with my order. I got what I think is a seasonal flavor, of Dark Chocolate Peppermint. That is a really good flavor. So if your in the area of a Cold Stone, make sure you stop by and get some Ice Cream.
