It was so cute, clean, and affordable. The hosts were considerate and answered right away. We will definitely visit again

This place was a complete disappointment! Nothing like the pictures. We were missing a refrigerator, room smelled of cigarettes and the bathroom had urine in toilet. The curtains in bathroom looked makeup stained. The toilet was in a tight corner and you couldn’t move if you were seated. The shower curtain had that orange tinted mildew on the bottom. Completely disgusting. I had to give one star to review. But honestly would give zero stars. Please research this establishment before you stay. We turned key in and left. Lost 165.00 because you have to book two nights. The office leaves your envelope taped to the wall in office lobby. And drop box is unlocked. So when we returned key, we took a picture of unlocked drop box. Don’t want to be charged 200.00 for failure to return key.

After a very long drive to stay at what the website projected as a rustic cabin in the mountains. I found a poorly constructed one room shed with cracking sheet rock, tiny bathroom, odd smell and missing a fridge. Even though I knew I would loose money, I promptly left and stayed at a hotel in Alamogordo. I left Spruce Cabins a note and email of my disappointment, they have not reached out as of yet. Those two points should convey a lot about Spruce Cabins, make your choice accordingly.

Cabin was filthy! I booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1 night due to bugs crawling and flying around the cabin. Not to mention the filthy furnishings and carpet made it impossible for me to stay! I immediately notified management and they never responded yet refused to give a refund on the days not stayed. Horrible way to run a business! BEWARE it was a HORRIBLE experience! There are better places to stay in Cloudcroft. If I could give negative stars I would!

It was about the worst place I have everstayed.we reserved two nights but after one night couldn,t get out of there fast enough.
