Ruidoso Lodge Cabins

First time staying at a cabin in Ruidoso and we are so glad we chose this place! Cabin 8 was clean, cozy, and the location was great! Close to town and to Grindstone Lake. Scenic property plus the occasional wildlife visits add to the charm. We were also lucky enough to catch the snow before we left! The staff was extremely kind and helpful! Very happy with our stay and we will be returning soon!

I booked a cabin here for my husband and I for a 4 day rest and relaxation experience on the heels of Hurricanes Laura and Delta. We just needed a break from mother nature’s fury. So after driving from Beaumont, TX for about 12-13 hours give or take, this place was a refuge for us. We left 90 degree, 100% humidity levels to mornings of 45 degree, 18% or less humidity and let me say, a breath of fresh air! The mountainous terrain and wildlife accompanied with such friendly hospitality and warm welcoming from locals, we had indeed made a good decision to come here.Restaurants, shopping, sight seeing and even wine tasting made it an exceptional get away. The cabin was perfect with an open room concept of a king sized bed situated in front of a lovely propane gas fireplace controlled by a thermostat, along with a big screen tv and loveseat sitting area. To the left of the bed was a large whirlpool tub, which we used a couple of times. A small kitchen area for preparing meals and dining was a nice amenity. Walking out the back door to a porch and sitting area complete with a nice gas grill was the topper. We grilled steaks, played cards, had drinks, listened to music and just relaxed. So, so nice!!! So peaceful and quiet. The mule deer coming up to you for snacks was pretty cool too. We slept like babies here and left well rested and rejuvenated. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this place especially to couples.
