Alamogordo Visitor Center

We're staying in Alamogordo for a couple of months and I stopped in here for info on the area. Wow! The veteran that greeted me was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Jade was very helpful and knows what’s going on in the area, she was able to point us towards some activities and places of interest for us. Great restaurant recommendations and other recommendations. Highly recommend visiting if you’ve never visited.

Yes you need to close to go for lunch, totally understandable ....,but leave a reopening time! Posted time was Saturday open until 5pm. We arrived 11.50am so we waited 20 minutes then gave up. Pity, really needed some info.

Fantastic! Was greatly impressed with all the information that tells about the Tularisa Basin. Well done. A small fee to tour the museum but well worth it.
