I agree that Van Willingen has her own agenda. She displays absolutely NO empathy. She refuses to treat/prescribe in situation where she might seriously jeopardize the patient's health. She demands more office visits than are necessary. When I was diagnosed with a serious illness that required an Internist, not a Family Practitioner, she was infuriated to learn she wouldn't be in charge of my care. She's vindictive when crossed and prone to one-sided decisions.

Dr Van Willigen makes mistakes. She was not my choice. I made an appointment with Dr Clarke, and she was assigned when I got the flu. Instead of going back to Clark, I was stuck with Van Willigen. It has been a disaster for my health care. She screwed up a simple prescription for Oxicodone when I fractured my cocsyss, or tailbone, due, I believe to a conflict of interest with a man who inflicted an unprovoked injury to the brain. This man, a rageoholic, is her husband's best friend. Due to her bizarre handling of my case, I strongly suspect she committed a serious HIPPA violation. Beware if this doctor has any hidden agendas in regards to your care. Taos is a very small town.
