Back in the '50s and '60s, you could hear a pin drop in church, and if it became necessary to speak, you always did so in a whisper. We were taught that this was God's house, and that we were there to pay honor and reverence. No a place to socialize! It's time to stop talking and gossiping in the inmaculate Conception. Talking and disorder at the back of the church before and after mass, and during confession time.nThe Mass is the re-creation of Christ's passion and crucifixion. I don't imagine that Mary and John walked away from Calvary discussing John's new haircut or how Mary's veil looked!
Awesome church. People were very nice and welcoming
Loved it. Very nice Fiesta, great food, pies, cakes. Bless all who worked so hard to raise money for the church. People are always friendly too.
Went to Mass. Covid19 precautions in place. Face masks and social distancing required.
I was baptized here in 1965 by Father W. Diamond. I’d give it a higher rating, but I really don’t remember it. We moved from Hendrix street in Alamogordo because my dad was Air Force (Holloman) and we moved when I was 2. Dad died when I was 6. I’d like to visit one day to see where I was born.
