To see such pretty stone architecture in this area is an awesome thing, reminiscent of a small cathedral.nJust a tip: be mindful to to keep your mouth shut when you stare up into the rafters, as everyone naturally does; there have always been at least a few bats that roost in the ceiling beams. The mission is truly a beautiful & spiritual place.

Place to pray. To relax and enjoy the view was close but we enjoyed the time.

Decorated for the holidays, it must have been beautiful at midnight mass. Fabulous!

Absolutely Filled in Spirit. I sway at the top of the stairs, and have to sit for a minute. When I walked in and sat it was exactly 12 pm, the church bell was ringing. Inside took my breath even more than the outside and I was overcome with tears. Just tears I can’t explain as I looked upon all the wonderful stained glass, and every photo or room. Just the building alone is magnificent. I walked, and sat and stared at everything. I lit a candle for thanks, I do not know the ways of each saint or if I did it correctly but I’ve always been drawn to the idea of it. As I was almost fully around the bell sounded again. I walked through the doors and as I reached the step I could hear a raven or crow? As it called my attention to it, I saw there were two in a tree just in front of me. I gave them a hello, yes I talk to animals :) All of a sudden this huge brownish bird flew from the same tree, kind of bobbing up and dow as it flew. I saw it was popping something up and then catching it! It was teaching its little hatchling to fly!! I so enjoyed the presence of this place, and it’s wonderful setting.
