I just moved into my new apartment about 4mo ago and started to receive high electric bills from $150 to my most highest current bill of $251.00. I always pay my bills on time and in full. I called to talk to a representative at PNM which was no help at all and give me the run around as to why I was the one who caused the high bills. But I keep my A/C on 70 degrees all the time and barely be at home to use any lights. I lived in different apartments for several years and never experienced my eletric bills being this high in my lifetime. PNM is the absolute worse company who price gouges there customers. There is no way an apartment light bill should be this high. Furthermore, they say they will send someone to recheck the meter just to come back saying the reading was correct and your back to the same run around game of paying the extremely high bill. However, I do all the energy saving tips and unplug all my appliances when they are not in use. But I still get a $251 dollar bill. PNM you need to be honest and not cheat or steal from people. And you are some real crooks who cheat your customers and pocket people's harder earn money especially in this time of hardship of Covid 19. If I was doing the rating I would give you a negative 10 or zero stars.

PNM refused to send out a technician to inspect our meter or their power-lines coming into our house. Even when their customer service admitted the readings were absurdly high and didn't match previous years usage at all.nMy wife and I have repeatedly recieved the runaround and a flat out refusal to take our concerns seriously. Either they only hire individuals of exceedingly low intelligence or they don't understand basic electrical theory and expressed concerns that their likely faulty equipment could start a fire mean nothing to them.

Not happy, three outages in one week during a pandemic where a lot of work and school is done online. Not going to get that time back and each outage has lasted around 3 hours, not happy :(

PNM's customer service is unbelievably terrible. They mostly lack any effort at trying to reconcile an issue rationally. I'm being charged for services rendered for 5 months after I moved out of my apartment. I've disputed the charge, but ultimately I will have to pay as customer service is not willing to waive the fee with proof that I moved out. I'm not sure if they're a competing energy provider in Alamogordo, but if there is, I would certainly recommend any other one here.

Digusting in the manner they treat people INCLUDING service members and there families. Accidently paid twice using their app, due to no confirmation email. Their efforts to revrse this were pitiful. Called on I believe a Wednesday and was told 3-5 buisness days. My husband would get paid just before we woyld see money back (Mon/wed). I told them that wont work cause I need to get gas turned on. Money is tight cause I was sick, and I was going to have to choose between heat and eating well already. They said that I could cancel payment through my bank but PNM will charge a (LARGE) fee. I mentioned I wouldnt be able to afford both with the fee anyway and they offered no further help. They seem content with letting a young airman and sick wife freeze. (Luckily we found a tiny old space heater a previous tenant left. We arent waking to 40 degree rooms ANYMORE. makes me mad that I have to give more money for electric though...)
