Small, historic, cozy, kid-friendly, progressive and traditional at the same time (!), and TOTALLY LEGIT! Truly the *via media*

After becoming disillusioned by the Roman Catholic church's pedophilia, corruption, mistreatment of women, children and homosexuals, I came to this church one Sunday, in 2015. I was so taken by the Christian tolerance, the pageantry, the respect and love the congregation showed to one another, I've been there ever since. It's a wonderful church and very inspirational.

Park in the parking lot on the south side and go in through the back door. Those 19th century steps are killers. Fr. Paul, a balding red head, born in Ecuador, is a man of honest relation, real compassion, deep learning. Pastor Sarah combines being a counselor at WNMU and being a priest with a quicksilver wit and an open, accepting spirit. The people are welcoming and they have as many questions as answers. There are no pinched dogma floggers here. The kitchen is strong, the music good. Want to serve the kids in Palomas? Ask Deacon Tom.
