Our group of 5 went on a half day fly fishing excursion with Todd and Caleb this September and it was awesome! 2 of our group had done fly fishing before, 2 were brand new, and 1 was a spectator and our guides were very accommodating of all our ability levels. Todd and Caleb were knowledgeable about the area, fish, all the best places to fish along the river, and were clearly passionate about helping people learn and enjoy fishing. They went above and beyond- teaching us different techniques and taking photos for us. Everyone in our group caught at least one fish (some of us with quite a bit of help haha) and we got to see a beautiful elk as well as just being out in a beautiful part of Rocky Mountain National Park. The store itself where you meet for the excursion is very clean, bright, and welcoming as well. We all agreed we would do this trip again if we are ever back in the area!

I can’t explain how much fun my sons and I had. We had great guides Liam and Wyatt that took care of everything and put us on a ton of rainbow/brown trout. This experience exceeded all of our expectations. These guys know their business! Plus any Fly needs are in Kirk’s shop great selection, courteous staff and knowledgeable expertise! We will be return customers and I highly recommend! They have given me memories I will never forget.

We could not have asked for a better experience! Caught approximately 30 fish! Brown trout ranges from 12-20 inches. We were first timers and have fallen in love with fly fishing due largely impart to Caleb's patience and education! We will definitely be back!

Awesome fly shop. Everything you could possibly need to get on the water. Great help for understanding CO access laws. Hopes and prayers that you are all safe.

Had a great day with Caleb on the Colorado! We landed some fun brown’s and missed a couple of big ones. Caleb knows his stuff and was able to provide good insight into their habits and patterns. And, even though I have 30 plus years of fly fishing experience, Caleb was able to help me work on some new techniques. Highly recommend Kirks Flyshop and Caleb for a great day of flyfishing when in Grand Lake. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers!
