Good selection of games and models and toys, but sadly awful customer service.nnI was excited to stop in and pick up a few items for my sons just before Christmas. We are local and they're finally old enough that they're getting into gaming. I was happy to be able to shop locally.nnThe owner didn't say hello when I entered, and he talked at length to the only other customer in the store. Finally, and sadly, after almost 10 minutes I left without making a purchase after barely being acknowledged.nnI had hoped this would become our local game shop, but I'm now very inclined to take my business elsewhere. Even if that means taking it out of the valley.nnHe did have the good manners to tell me he didn't intend to ignore me...after ignoring me, and while I was brushing past him on my way out the door.

Great little hobby shop. Has lots of 1:72 and 1:35 kits and lots of HO and some HOn3 model railroading stuff.

Lots of role playing games and books. HO scale boxed train sets. Lots of aquatic supplies, but no functioning aquariums set up, and no live pets for sale. I spoke with the owner, Bob, ahead of time. Extra points for warm welcome to the store, friendly and approachable, passionate about what he sells. He even directed me to other business owners when he understood he doesn't stock what I was looking for. I appreciate this is a family owned business. 4 stars only because he doesn't carry what I wanted (live fish - - but he's closed in the winter, so that makes sense!) and I hate to say, but I have to be honest/objective, (it's the biggest hurdle for mom and pop shops) , I can find lower prices on line.

Selection of model cars is awesome. Owner is awesome. You don't find many shops like these anymore.

Great shop, tons of aqaurium supplies in the back. The owner is an amazing gentlemen. He will give you the best conversation in Gunnison.
