Walgreens Pharmacy

The fedex drop off here is a failure. They scanned my package and sent a confirmation, but the package was returned to me the next day with no explanation and want sent. Otherwise the store is mediocre. Haven't used the pharmacy.

In early January, I gave them a new insurance card for my prescriptions. Common sense would dictate that you should remove the old insurance as you're not allowed to have two insurance cards. Throughout the month they primarily used my old insurance card and one time my new one. I went in tonight to talk to them. I wasn't hostile or accusatory. I simply asked what could be done to rectify the situation. Three staff members including the pharmacist were incredibly aggressive and defensive, saying it wasn't their fault, that I'd have to bring in receipts, that they don't deal with insurance companies. Basically, rather than letting me talk, without even looking at the document that I brought which showed all the times they used the wrong insurance card, they gave me attitude and made me feel unwelcome. I have been going to this pharmacy for over 6 months and this is the first time I've been treated like this. All I wanted was advice on how a situation they caused could be rectified. I didn't place blame. I just explained what was happening. As a result, I was attacked. And I could tell they just wanted me gone. They weren't interested in helping me. I never write reviews. I actually called this same location a few months ago to compliment someone (outside the pharmacy) for going above and beyond. But frankly, tonight's level of unprofessionalism that put me in a terrible mood tonight has me seriously questioning whether I'll be back.

Lots of items out of stock but bins all over the store are filled with shipments that never get put away. Already opened products all over. Must spend a lot of time checking that your prospective purchase wasn't opened!

Terrible service at this location! Pharmacists are just plain rude and make you wait 15-20 minutes for a prescription. Called to refill my mothers high blood pressure medicine and they said they didn’t have any in stock! How is it that a pharmacy dealing with many patients doesn’t have a certain medication in stock? You couldn’t give her at least 3 emergency pills while you get your normal stock in order? That same day in the evening I picked up my sons medication and the pharmacist at the register said to me “sorry for not having any spoons, I have to give you a syringe that we have hundreds of”? So let me get this straight, you guys wait for everything to be out of stock to then put in the orders? How can you guys work like that when theirs patients that have serious/severe conditions that can’t go without being medicated? I feel like their should be some sort of policy set for this kind of stuff because to me it’s ridiculous to have no shame in saying that your out of stock on things.
