This shop is one of three that sells Junghans in the Bay Area. The other two are in San Francisco. Lee helped us try on several. Explained and demonstrated how to adjust them. We picked up a beautiful Presage Seiko and a Maxbill Junghan. Make sure you check their website for deals. This shop also provides maintenance and repair for automatic and wound watches. We had a great experience.

I won’t buy a watch anywhere else. I highly recommend these guys! Lee was super helpful in repairing a watch I sent him (since he’s one of the very few who can repair Junghans watches). I then decided to buy a watch from him over the phone and have him ship it quite the distance. I was a bit nervous to do so but Lee was extremely helpful and professional. He even made sure to call several times to figure out my wrist size and provide tracking numbers. I couldn’t be more happy I used him.

Incredible, honest service. I took in a textured sterling silver ring which I needed to get sized down from a size 10 to a size 8.75. The owner of the shop helped talk me through some considerations when resizing a ring with external texturing and helped me understand that when resizing, the details might not be preserved perfectly. They also helped find the exact right ring gauge, considering that my ring has a thicker band, and has a varying width as you go around.nnThe price seemed fair considering the labor involved and I was really happy with the results (picture attached - you can't even tell where it was cut!).nnGreat communication and turnaround time - I will definitely return here for future jewelry modification needs.

Situated in a discrete section of Broadway in downtown Redwood City, CA, near the CalTrain tracks, is a little gem of a jewelry store (pun intended). I have been buying watches from Golden Time Jewelers for the past 20 years, and has never been disappointed with the quality of the watches and the after-sale service that the owner, Lee, has provided. Lee is a Swiss certified watchmaker, one of only few in the Peninsula. He performs factory authorized services for the watch brands that he carries, but also repairs and performs routine services on most brands of Swiss and Japanese watches. Golden Time is an authorized Grand Seiko / Seiko dealer. As an avid GS/Seiko watch collector, I have bought every GS and Seiko watch from Lee. He literally offers the best prices anywhere in the world that I've been to, including the official Grand Seiko Boutique in Ginza District of Tokyo! I will continue to patronize Golden Time Jewelers for many more years to come for my watch needs!
