Stern Grove Concert Meadow

Wonderful Summer Concerts! Went to hear the SF Symphony Orchestra on a Sunday afternoon, and it was fabulous. Very lovely setting in the lush and tall trees. Nice grassy areas to sit. Full restroom facilities. For the concert series there are food vendors, and food trucks. Fun activities also, for adults and kids. Overall you will have a very memorable time there!

There was a extreme event on Halloween and thanks heavens to Betsy it's yearly one I totally flipped when I saw all the fun to be had at this party the rides and games and food were on time this year. I got to wear scary make up when I went to video the happenings I was too excited and I forgot to stop my camera I only got pics of my self. i bought Laffy Taffy with me to give to the kids it turned out fine till the park and rec guy said that's enough. I played The Halloween music song I'll Slash You that Way a song with the Back Street boys sound with Jason Freddy Michael and others doing the singing The staff there liked it. I drank an old fashioned soda than I left before dark. It was really a great time Oh and there was a stage show.

A great park that can totally make you forget you’re in a bustling urban city. A good place to go to if you want to recharge your inner battery and forget about the world/relieve your stress !!

I've been coming to concerts every year since I was a kid and now I bring my kids. The last Stern Grove Conner we saw was the SF Ballet. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect! Not too hot or cold. We set up a picnic with some friends and had a great time! Now you need 2 stamps on your have to get to the front. A black one to get into the Grove and a red one to sit in front of the stage. Just make a note of this.

Sigmund Stern celebrates its 81st year of free concerts in this natural amphitheater. Food trucks are now in the west meadow. Great schedule of artists that begins on Father's day each year through August.
