Great for cycling workouts - it’s like 100 times better than an indoor bike trainer! No cars, no stops, just smooth riding.
If a sailor were to wash upon a beach after a disaster this one is preferred over all others. I'm very thankful to all involved in Golden Gate Park's conception and maintenance these last 150 years.

The Polo Field has been my urban multi-tool for decades. I have used its dirt track for both running and contemplative walks. While San Francisco has a plethora of great walking routes, there is something uniquely meditative about walking around the Polo Field track. Maybe it's the sweeping Vista or the lush grass or even the geese grazing on said grass? Whatever, it's a great way to refresh the mind!
