They know how to waste taxpayer dollars
Found used needles and a bag of drugs outside my apartment only to be told that no one from the city will come pick them up for at least 24 hours... great to know children play on our streets and can easily pick these up. FIGURE THIS OUT!
The Homeless problem in San Francisco is a civic disgrace.nnThe reduction of homelessness to the extent humanly possible must be San Francisco’s No. 1 priority.nnThe level and pervasiveness of homelessness in San Francisco is a disgrace. It is simply not acceptable to allow people to stay in the squalor of tent encampments or sleep in doorways, parks and freeway underpasses without attention to the underlying issues that prevent them from attaining shelter and stability in their lives. It’s bad for public safety, bad for public health, and bad as a matter of basic humanity.nnIts reduction to the extent humanly possible should be this city’s No. 1 priority.nnThe ultimate goal must be to eliminate, not manage, homelessness.nnThe Board of Supervisors has done nothing to mitigate the homeless problem in the City of San Francisco.nPlease contact your district representative and request a call to action.
