It's home for me, for now.

This is a unique place that nurtures unique plants. As if that weren't enough, it now has an outstanding light show. Though this a repeat of this distinctive display; it is indeed an experience to come here to see it after dusk. It provides an ambience that isn't available in the park the rest of the year. I hope that this becomes a yearly tradition & that in better times many more people get to have this experience.

This was the first time I have ever been, I was not disappointed. This was just amazing to see all the different areas in the museum. The rain forest intrigued me. The butterflies were awesome to see. Aquarium was also amazing to see the jellyfish tanks.nSaw the Dark Universe show, wow what a great informative show.nThere is a cafeteria style eating area.nVery kids friendly.

The Conservatory is a beautiful place. The structure seems very Great Gatsby like. The gardeners do a fabulous job with the lawn in front. Even in January (today is 1/31/21), it’s gorgeous! Full of yellow flowers which could be daffodils, tulips, poppies! A carpet of sunshine! Just what is needed for winter time! Picnic or yoga on the lawn with social distancing, of course! Enjoy a day in Golden Gate Park. Stop by the Conservatory. The exterior will wow you with its delicate looking structure that is bright white!

I absolutely love this place!!! Wonderful vibes, wonderful plants. A long time ago I visited with my younger brother and impressed a docent with our carnivorous plant knowledge at a special exhibit. Extensive outdoor grounds to enjoy during covid-19 or if you don't want to pay. Also visited recently to see the lights show outside socially distantly. You can often encounter surprise live music outside!
