Sutro Baths

Really cool place to explore the ruins of these old community baths. The views are really beautiful with the outcroppings of stone on the water. Parking can get a bit busy on weekends, but local street parking makes up for it as needed. While you’re in the area, check out the local trails since you can walk ~1-2 miles to see a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Great for sunset kisses

The views were decent and the trails well-maintained, but it's hard to enjoy a place like this with the obnoxious graffiti, vandalism, and trash throughout the park.

Lovely place on the Pacific Ocean. There isn’t much left of the original baths, which were partially demolished by a developer and then destroyed by a fire. But the place still elicits a sense of grandeur. You can walk around the place and take in the view. I highly encourage reading the NPS history of the surrounding area and building itself. Great place to start or end a lands end hike or bike ride. Stairs down to the baths from the parking lot are a bit steep, however.
