Always a place of peace and reflection. Unfortunately, but tastefully growing in the past couple of decades. Set in a new growth redwood grove it is one of my favorite spots in the Golden Gate Park.

I’ve lived in the city for over 25 years and just recently discovered this hidden gem. I love the entire park but this place is my favorite. It has beautiful natural landscaping with lots of shade and benches. If you visit the park make sure to spend some time here.

This is my favorite spot in Golden Gate park. It’s solemn and quiet, a wonderful place to focus on nature and heal.

Little grove and walkway in golden gate park. Parking can be a bit difficult to find but this is one of my favorite areas in golden gate park.

It was nice but brings me sad memories of friends who died with AIDS and now another virus that we have be safe with one another.
