Robbin Library is one of the best libraries around! The large book selection along with kind and knowledgeable staff are supported by a beautiful and spacious interior. The children's section on the bottom floor is fantastic and fitted with comfortable seating and toys to checkout and play with while browsing the ever expanding book collection.
I love the wall art rental program to keep my apartment looking fresh. People are very respectful, the staff is kind and there is some absolutely beautiful architecture, not to mention the park outside. Either walk or bring some quarters for the parking meter.
This is one of the best libraries in the minutemen system. The building is a work of art in itself. They have a laptop vending machine where you can borrow a laptop (for use while in the library - not to take home) using your library card. The staff are very helpful and they often host book clubs and speakers and events. The children’s section is fantastic.
Today I drove my car to the Robbins Library for the first time (I usually take the bus) and parked my car in the back parking lot, only to find upon my return, after a few hours of reading, a $15 parking ticket. The Robbins Library and the Town of Arlington should be ashamed of themselves for taxing access to a public library. This is disgraceful municipal greed. I'm boycotting Robbins until all metered parking is removed, and I recommend others do the same.
Amazingly preserved and developed historic building, great library as well as heat wave shelter. Always very nice personnel.
