Spruce Grove Cabins & Suites

What a great vacation spot. Adorable cabin surrounded by nature. It was clean and quiet and we loved the fireplace. No to far from town with shopping and activities. The only down side was the other cabin guest didn't clean up after their dogsud83dudc15

Now I understand the rustic cabin look, and it had the look for the most part it was cute, we found the place on the app Vrbo.nnMy family and I stayed at the Pioneer in the Spruce Grove, there was no mention that said condo was going to be on the top floor as we have an 80+ year old with us and my dad is getting up in years.nnCheck in is set at 4pm, so we got there a little before 4, we can’t check in because the lock is set to open at 4, which is a little inconvenient. When we unlock the door, someone’s still cleaning in fact she barely started, she informs us we don’t have the room and that no one was to occupy the room, and starts badgering us even though we had the pass to open the door, then we need to wait 30 to 45 minutes in the cold with a full car and antsy pets, and bathroom needs.nnShe leaves, we get in and the entire room smells like her cigarettes! Not to mention poorly cleaned and everything smells and feels musty dusty and dirty, we swept and mopped the floor & disinfected everything and it was just disgusting, it’s like she just didn’t do anything, we didn’t have towels, or extra blankets. The only reason we got this place was because it allowed dogs we love to take with us, and had I more time to pick a place I FOR SURELY would not have picked this place. The only good thing about this place was the customer service over the phone and that’s just it.

We did not lack anything!nHad a hot tub outside, working hot tub ud83dude01nThe place had great amenities, safe environment, bear attention marks, heavy trash bins in order to keep the said bear away.nThe heater was working great and we really did not lack anything.nnOnly one thing you might need to pay attention! Not all the switches have correspondingly lights to turn on. This might seem not important but when first entering the perimeter, might look strange.

It was very quaint and cute. Just what I was looking for. Our cabin did get a bit hot in the day and there is no ac system but when we woke up the heater 2as very nice because it was about 45 outside. There is definitely some things that could be improved but the price was nice! Overall I was happy

Um... we booked here because we didn't know that many of the hotels allow small dogs.nIt was ok. It was run down and looked like an old man's hunting lounge, which I guess is the point.nI would have rather stayed in a nice hotel room with room service and all for the price of the place. Would have caused the same.nThe bed wasn't bad, there wasn't anywhere in the room to set out bags so our clothes kinda just ended up on the floor and in dining room.nThe tenets next door had very loudly barking dogs. But they were quite in the night at least.nIt seems to be a good place to stay if you want to spend like a week or longer in the area with a dog. Not too great for a weekend getaway but to each their own.
