While I don't have a lot of experience with dry cleaning, just the occasional dress every few months, I've always had a good experience using J&D Cleaners in Arlington - a mom and pop type business with a small storefront located right on Mass Ave. They always seem to be open every time I walk by, and there is ample parking. It's a little run down on the inside, but they do a good job. J&D also offers some of the lowest pricing in town, the staff/owners have always attended to me as soon as I walk through the door, and my dresses/suits come back looking clean.

Fantastic for dry cleaning and any alteration you can dream up. I have practically created my own fashions with their help. I love, love, love them.

Extremely brief, yet terrible experience here. I walk in looking to get one outfit (shirt, jacket & pants) pressed. The guy looks at me like i had three heads and tried to tell me pressing and dry cleaning is the same thing. It's not.. He even told me the press is hot and wet. He also literally laughed in my face when I said I needed it rushed for tomorrow (this is generally a normal thing you pay extra for). I'll never be back to J & D.

Very friendly family run place. Shirts are always excellent and tailoring is also good.
