I went to her needing a new pcp since i just moved to Wisconsin. Do not go to Aurora for a routine physical because you will end up with a bill over 400 dollars for anything but a routine physical. They charged me 389 for the visit and coded it as anything but a preventive routine exam so my insurance wouldn't be able to cover it and they would get more money out of me. On top of that i gave copies of bloodwork for past 3 years and my most recent labs were only 4 months old and despite that she ordered a full panel of bloodwork which was unnecessary since most of my labs were normal and those were billed to be over 1000 dollars which still left me with 200 dollars of a copay for the bloodwork. Their billing department is useless when it comes to explaining the reason for the visit being given incorrect diagnosis codes and the doctor and office staff refuse to answer any messages or voicemails left to correct the chart so my insurance can cover all the claims. Do not use Aurora or any doctors under the banner unless you want to be charged 500 dollars for a routine physical where absolutely nothing was done or prescribed except for a vitamin d script. My husband was also treated the same and received a bill of 200 dollars so between the two of us we owe 700 dollars. It would be cheaper for us to not get a routine physical done. I will definitely be looking for a new doctor not in the Aurora health care system because despite their claims to be not for profit they are definitely looking to nickel and dime you for every penny you are worth and more. DO NOT GO TO AURORA ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KROGER HEALTH INSURANCE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS OFFICE!
