Varter's Oriental Rugs

I am beyond thrilled with Varter's Oriental Rug cleaning services. I had two Oriental rugs that needed cleaning and they came back better than I could've imagined. Clean, fresh smelling, and they even feel better underfoot due to the deep hand-cleaning that they provide. Also, excellent customer service with friendly pick up and delivery. I would highly recommend Varter's!

I had a few Oriental rugs that were over 50 years old, and let's just say I'm not the most meticulous housekeeper, so they looked pretty ratty and tired. After the rugs made a visit to Varter's, they came out looking brand new. In one case, there was an ink stain they could not remove chemically so they removed a bit of fabric and rewove it with new matching wool. I can't find that spot now. Really amazing workmanship and attention to detail.

Brought in a rug that was unraveling at the seams. It was repaired and cleaned in less than a week and looked like new! Everyone there was super friendly, all good safety precautions were in place and my rug was done for a great price!

I have had the pleasure of buying several rugs from Varter’s over the past year. Whenever I walk into the store I immediately feel welcomed and attended to in the most friendly, thoughtful and attentive way. The lovely owner as well as every employee I have interacted with there has been nothing but delightful to work with. On multiple occasions I have given vague descriptions of what i was looking for and they have been so generous and patient with their time, going through piles and piles of rugs trying to find just the right style, color and size, even allowing me to take home multiple rugs to try them out and see how they look before deciding. I never felt pressured to buy, I just felt a genuine sense that they wanted to help me find a perfect rug. They have hundreds of rugs kept in beautiful condition and the owner is so helpful in explaining all the differences in how they are made, their countries of origin, how to keep them clean. They also cut a rug pad to fit which is so helpful. After several interactions with them I brought in a beloved big beautiful old rug that had never been deep cleaned since it was passed down to us and was fraying at the edges. The owner went over in detail what she would do to clean and mend it. When I picked it up she again spent the time to explain everything about what they had done and even showed me pictures of the process and how much hidden dirt they had been able to get out (amazing and disgusting to see what the vacuum wasn’t able to get!) I couldn’t recommend this business more highly and will go back to them for any rug purchases or care of any rugs that I value in the future.
