First time ordering from here and I didn't realize that the online orders are in half yards. Called and left a message, got a call back right away saying it was no problem and of course they could cut me the right amount. Fabric shipped super quickly and was exactly what I was looking for. Great fabric and great customer service!

I just received my 2nd mail order from - The Sew-Op. Placed my 2nd order on-line after reviewing the extensive website with lots of great fabric choices & notions. My first order was some of their excellent ELASTIC which I quickly used up making masks for many people in my community in south Florida. I ordered more as well as a Yard of their unique VOTE Fabric. I have to get busy making that fabric also into MASKS to share.nThanks for sending my order so promptly. Hope to visit this beautiful shop someday.

The proprietor of this establishment is a former fashion professor at the prestigious Rhode island school of design. As a long time purveyor of the weft and warp I was exceedingly impressed with the selection of wares. The notions section was salivating, and they had a section for men's patterns that someone might actually want to wear! (This is important, as most sewing ventures forget that it's a gender neutral artform.)nnI also had the pleasure of talking to the owner, who was very professional. I didn't have the time to check out any of the classes offered, but next time I'm around I just might try to catch one!

Such a beautiful store with a patient and talented owner. I have developed new skills and (importantly) have found the sewing classes to be inspiring, relaxing and fun. I would recommend both the classes and the retail shop to any friend or family member with any inclination to sew. No skills or talent necessary (I'm proof of that!)
