One of the great landmarks and hidden gem here in RI. The work snuff mill and originally furnished home is jammed packed with history and staffed with the best docents in Rhode Island who present this era of American history to bring it alive!

Intriguing look at the work and early home of a great portrait artist (his most famous is in your wallet or pocket right now). Quaint, charming place, guided tour is interesting and well worth a bit less than an hour of your time...nature walks here, too.

Hidden gem. Docent led tours very entertaining taking you back in time. See how water powered grist mills work.There are two of them. Walk the trails on the grounds.
