Just went through tonight 2/17 with my roommate and the guy working took her ID & my debit card, looked at it and me show my ID as well since it wasn’t her debit card. Instead of denying the purchase because of liability issues he clearly stated “it’s okay, I just need to make sure it’s your debit card”. I handed him my ID & even though I have 2 months until I’m 21 he granted the offer even though the alcohol wasn’t for me and I was just paying her back my portion of the cable bill by buying her a bottle of Malibu, he brought my debit card back to me AFTER he had charged it and said, “I added $2 because you love me right?” I was very confused and he said that once again. Needless to say we will never be going back to the Roo Thru again because he was very creepy in the way that he portrayed this and overcharged me for something he shouldn’t have gave out in the first place if he saw such a big deal with using my debit card.
