While doing self-checkout at 6:30 AM, cashier from three aisles over went out of her way to help me bag my groceries. She kept careful eye on her own workstation while assisting me. I believed she deserved a tip but she refused. I want to recognize Pat F for extraordinary effort and character. Well done!
Typical Giant Eagle. Nice selection of mostly quality foods. Some things are a lot more expensive than their competitors. But they do have better quality.

The associates in the different areas of the store are always pleasant enough and knowledgeable about their sections. And they make a good effort to keep the store clean with spray cleaners for the buggies and sanitizing wipes.
Excellent produce pricey but quality is important. Which usually costs a little more.
