I discovered the Silver Unicorn Bookstore while they were closed due to Covid but still offering orders by delivery. They have been an amazing source of joy for me as they have helped me discover books for myself, my toddler, friends, and family. Always time for a new book!
A great little bookstore with a wide selection of interesting titles, but their complementary hand sanitizer that is strongly encouraged has nuclear strength perfume in it that immediately made me cough. When I left I washed with a wet wipe in the car, and then when I got home I thoroughly scrubbed and it's still very strong. I had to drive home with the windows open. I wanted to have a look around and shop a bit after picking up my preorder, but the perfume was too strong to stay safely indoors.
It was confusing but pleasant. The place was charming and well managed. The overall place was charming, an excellent collection of modern and upbeat themes..
Well curated, independent book seller. Nice welcoming store.
