Yorktowne Manufactured Home Community

I am not a resident, but we took a tour, and were shown two mobile homes. Our experience was good, the staff was pleasant, and very helpful. We never saw an ounce of rudeness.nShe (my apologies, I forgot her name) answered all our questions. The new homes are really nice!nI do hope they get the drives paved though, kind of rough, although I think the office personnel's hands are tied with budget sometimes.nnLot rent is a bit high, plus you pay for water. But it is a family-friendly park, and local police say it's as safe as anywhere else, the officer actually had good things to say - I thought that was important to add, because we always check no matter where we move, and we're impressed by that information and thought it might help someone else.nThe area is nice, with two gas stations literally right there. Plus a self-storage!nnWe will probably sit tight where we're at for now, but this park is something we'd consider in the future. We did appreciate the tour, and info though!

Nice quiet area to live staff are friendly and nice. There is a storage place, gas station, laundry Matt and grocery stores near by I enjoy living here with my family

Called ahead to see if the home we wanted was available still. Got a call back saying yes we do and that there were others still available as well. Came in a couple days later with all of my information and application only to be told we don't have any available anymore and that 8 homes were bought when they still had it saying available, new, and open house. Complete waste of time. Consider better places before moving here. Something is fishy, so I do not recommend it.nnEdit: took them weeks to reply with a generic copy and paste answer. If your homes are so popular and first come first serve, make that known and remove all the other information on them stating they are still available. I guarantee if I go to the park right now, the same homes will be still listed as move in ready and open house. Totally a sham! Don't tell me it is available just to say no more than 2 days later all homes are sold when it still is showing them as move in ready. False advertising.
