Felt like family my first day! It was uncomfortable at first meeting new people but I felt really happy there. Rolling was great teacher was great don't have any complaints

I was in Dublin for a work related trip before the pandemic and decided to stop by and visit this gym. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. It took Dan, the head instructor, about 15 minutes to explain a technique due to frequent digression. I remember one student who asked Dan if he could show the particular technique again and Dan looked at him in a demeaning way. His students were not bad but very competitive. I Felt like the seasoned training partners I was rolling with (sparring) were trying to compete with me. That’s fine but I’m just a white belt! I heard good things about this gym but after reading the comments, I can tell it was posted by current members and it is by far from what I witnessed. I’m sorry to say this but I will not be coming back to this the gym anytime soon. Due to my professional responsibilities, I can’t afford to risk injury especially in these crucial times. Thanks but no thanks.
I have been going to to classes here for about a month and it has been great. It is a really inviting atmosphere and everyone is always eager to help. Dan is a great instructor and always takes the time to to show moves again or answer any additional questions. I was also able to participate in the end-of-class rolling sessions in my first week.
This place really is awesome and offers multiple fighting styles it should really just be called combat central for northern Columbus.nnThis place is new modern well equipped and spotlessly clean.nnDan the owner has an awesome human being and a fantastic instructor.nnMy kids pop in here on Sundays for Judo but this place offers so much more, Such as boxing kickboxing BJJ Judo wrestling you name it they are it.
