Dr Junak is the best, seriously! He is engaged and invested in helping each patient on an individual level. He did an incredible job helping me with pain and discomfort I had spent months dealing with, taught me exercises and stretches to prevent the pain coming back, and helped me feel so much better overall. I have already recommended him to several friends and family and would strongly recommend reaching out to him with any issue, however minor it may seem.

Great treatment. Worked through a number of injuries efficiently, and was never sidelined at any point in the program. Perfect for anyone looking to work through an injury while continuing to train. The combination of rehab, dry needling, strengthening exercises not only reversed any damage, but improved overall strength in each body part, and I’m seeing significant strength gains a few weeks later.

I've been dealing with heel spurs for the past year. I had even scheduled surgery. As a last-ditch effort, I decided to make an appointment with my physical therapist friend Andrew Junak. Its 8 weeks later (5 pt sessions) and I am starting to see improvement! This past weekend for my sister in laws wedding I was able to wear completely flat sandals with no extra pain the next day!!nOne surprising thing that Andrew taught me is that disc herniation can cause something as simple as leg tightness and it can be resolved with an easy exercise.

I have had intermittent low back pain for years and have tried treating it myself with rest, stretching, and ibuprofen as well as seeing a chiropractor for adjustments and decompression. My most recent flare-up of back pain was more severe than previous ones so on the advice of a friend I began treatment with Dr. Junak at Peak Physiotherapy and Performance. He was able to pinpoint what was causing my pain and developed a plan to relieve it. After one week, I noticed huge improvements in my pain levels and functional ability, and was able to resume teaching/practicing yoga and working out with slight modifications. After completing a course of 6 sessions, my back feels better than it has in years and I have the tools I need to treat any future flare-ups should one occur. I am able to teach and practice yoga and lift weights without any restrictions, and I no longer wake up to back pain every morning. I would highly recommend Peak Physiotherapy and Performance to any active person in need of physical therapy treatment.

Dr. Junak was great! I had no idea what was wrong with my back/neck and he was able to determine what it was and came up with a great plan of attack to get me better. It worked, and I feel 100 times better than when I first went in.nnHe really takes the time, listens, and uses his extensive knowledge to address your issues. He also is available all the time for any problems you have between visits. I texted him on a Friday night and he got right back to me with some stretches I could do to address the pain I was having...talk about being available and caring about your patients!!!nnIf you have an injury, or nagging problem, go see him right away, I know I will return for any issues and would recommend him to anyone.
