Tami with Bluewater Destinations has booked several of our trips over the last few years, including Alaska, island of Antigua, a Europe land tour and most recently, a two-week European riverboat cruise. She has been more than accommodating for each trip, meeting with us personally when necessary to discuss details. Our latest vacation, she not only booked the trip (after researching and finding the best deal) but also booked our flights and hotel reservation after we decided to arrive a day early for extra sightseeing prior to the cruise. My husband and I decided to take a trip of a life time, an African Safari. We contacted Tami, owner of Bluewater Destinations for help.nWe did not want a “standard” safari where you are part of a group of people you do not know. Tami listened to what we requested and immediately started to help design our trip. She contacted an African travel company that she was familiar with to help with the details.nI am a photographer and Tami understood how important it was for me to photograph the wildlife up close and personal. Tami suggested Tanzania and private guides for our trip.nEvery detail was taken care of ahead of time; documents, what to pack, where to go, and where to stay. Our trip was perfect, absolutely no problems.nWe loved working with Tami because she listened to what we were looking for and designed the trip accordingly. Do not use this travel agency!!! I don't even no where to start. 1st of all they have no problem taking your money and promising you a vacation of a lifetime. However if you have an issue whatsoever they do not have the power to fix it!! Example.. I flew my family to Mexico which cost us around $12000 in total.. When we get to the hotel they do not give us the room that we paid for.. Very classic issue and very common. Took me a while to get ahold of my rep from Bluewater destinations but even after I did they were not able to resolve the issue.. I only used this company because of the room that I was supposed to get to accommodate my family. Instead I got 2 jointed regular rooms! Not what I paid for!! When I returned I emailed blue water destinations and got a response back from someone named Tami. From the very beginning she was full of nothing but excuses.. Took her weeks to get back to me and once she did she gave me 2 options either take $700 lol or a 3 night stay but I have to pay for the airfare. Mind you it took them weeks to get back to me but she gave me a weekend to make my decision... With no consideration to the fact that people have to look into their schedule and make something like this happen you can't just book a trip to Mexico on site. I did not wanna take my small children back there as there was not Much there for them to do even though this was supposed to be a kid friendly place and lots of things to do for the children in which there is not!!! They had no consideration for this either.. Instead I want to take a couple of my friends or maybe my aunts and uncles and I just needed a few days for them to look into this.. I was told today that if I did not give them an answer they would close the case... These guys are pathetic. And have no consideration for their customers. They say it's not their issue I understand that. However when you book through a travel agency like we did for the 1st time we don't know everything that they do!! We are relying on them to make everything right. Trust me when I say if you can go through anyone else then do it because these guys here are terrible. All they care about is your money and they do not stand behind their guarantee.
