The Toy Wash

Let me start out by saying that this is the second time I’ve used this detailing business. First time was great. Second time- disaster. I brought my black label Lincoln MKZ to toywash for a full Platinum detailing. I have never been so disappointed in a service. The car was dropped off at 8 AM and picked up at 4 PM- And the first thought through my head is wow why is it so dusty!? After spending all that time detailing it they decided to leave it outside to wait for me to pick it up. That I could overlook- If it weren’t for the fact that the chrome was completely untouched and dirty, The rearview mirrors were smudged and again dirty, And the car was covered in dead bugs. To top off a horrible service I was expected To pay extra For them to clean and shampoo the leather seats- I purchased the additional package so that they would remove the water base paint from the backseat where my cousin had spilled it. An attempt to remove the paint wasn’t even ATTEMPTED. To put a cherry onto a horrible service the owner and his secretary badgered me for 25 minutes on how the detailer did his job they performed the service and expected the extra money. On principle alone I told him I would not give them another dime. When the owner realized he couldn’t bully me into handing over my credit card He demanded that the detailer put down the terry cloth he was using to dust off the dead bugs get the hell away from my car and for me to get lost. I would never recommend this detailing service to Anyone -especially anyone with self-respect Or pride in their vehicle. Fun update I got home and was able to clean off the smudges and polish the chrome myself with in a half hour should’ve saved myself the time money and effort at Toy wash.

I drop off my car and get it back almost the same. I called and complain. The woman was nice, but I only have Monday off.. so she said bring it back. I am sorry, but you take my car for eight hours I expect a clean car. It was a joke.nI would do a better job. Seriously read your reviews. She said to me I am baffled.nI am thinking omg, I can’t believe you’re in business. She tells me come back on this date. She tells me I misinterpret the date. I was out of town that date. She insisted I was wrong with the date. I don’t think so.nI call her. She says to me.. oh well, next time we will do better.nShe tells me, I will give you a discount.nI am never going back again! Stay away!

I have had many things done to my vehicles at Toy Motorsports and The Toy Wash! I have to say I have been VERY HAPPY every time that I get one of my vehicles back! From a quick hand wash on my car, to a full on Diamond Detail! I have to say, after weekends at the beach with my nieces and nephews, my car seems to have more snacks and sand in it then the actual beach itself !! The guys at Toy always seem to get them looking perfect! I have had my windows tinted at Toy and they did a great job! I have also purchased new wheels and tires from them for both vehicles and even store one of my cars with them for the winter. Overall awesome service and great staff! I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEM!!!

The old Groupon Bait-and-Switch.nnIf you asked me whether our Highlander was cleaner than when we dropped it off I will tell you of course it was. If you asked me did I feel a little cheated, and was it more than twice as clean as the original Groupon I paid for? No, it absolutely was not.nMy Groupon was for a $115 'Gold' detailing (discounted from $165.) When the staff looked the car over, they told me the car wouldn't get anywhere near really clean, especially my seats and floor, unless we upgraded to their $235 'Platinum' package, which wasn't on the Groupon and wasn't discounted, so they could do shampooing and extraction. I wonder how many customers actually had the 'Gold' detailing done vs. being convinced to upgrade to the more expensive option. In the end the seats should have been immaculate, the wheels pristine, etc. The car should have stunning, and it was just 'OK.' It wasn't a bad detailing job, but it wasn't worth the money and it didn't leave me with a feeling like we'd been treated honestly. We won't be back.

Guys are great ,very accommodating , & they do a fabulous job. Period.
