We had booked two previous cruises with Joanna but for this current one, I suspected we might not be getting the best deal. So I contacted another agency and indeed found that the prices were cheaper and the agent was much more delightful. A day later, I received a nasty email from Joanna IRATE that I went to another agency, had a few choice words and told me not to contact her again. Joanna has ignored our asks and pushed her own opinions, despite already having picked out specific options. She’s very pushy and talks over you. We had a European cruise picked out and she refused to quote that one for us because she felt the port wasn’t her favorite and spent the entire hour quoting us for a cruise we were not interested in. Our new agent is much nicer and listens to all of our needs. Don’t book here unless you want to be bullied out of your preferences and upcharged. I’m thankful she showed her true colors before we booked our next cruise. We will be taking our business elsewhere and I suggest everyone else do the same.
Terrible experience. My husband and I were looking to book a trip to the Bahamas (Sandals). The agent immediatelyntried to change our minds about the destination and even staying at sandals in general. Weve stayed at the resorts before and have no desire to try anywhere else- and she kept trying to convince us to go to Mexico...so we're going back to the agency that booked our previous trip to Jamaica.
