Had a wonderful time on this cruise. The weather wasn't ideal but there was plenty of indoor space to keep everyone dry and warm. Even some live music too to keep everyone entertained in between the narrations educating everyone on board about the history of the river. Great bang for your buck.

Great Hudson River cruise! Lot's of history along the way. Hot food snack bar, small bar, plenty of tables & seating. The history was very interesting ti hear, and see.nDefinitely worth the time!

We tour on The Rip Van Wrinkle boat. Tickets have to be ordered online, no refunds-only a credit if cancelled for future trips. The ride is about 2 hours long. From NJ it’s about an hour an a half drive. The scenic drive is beautiful now with the change of leaves. Parking is a problem since it’s a very busy area with many restaurants nearby and the pier. The lot at the pier only accommodates about 10 cars so you’ll either have to park on the street or at the parking lot from across. So make sure you arrive 40 minutes before your tour. The boat has 3 levels. Only the lower level is enclosed and has heat. One of the crew members serenades the passengers with country music and provides historic info. On the main level there’s a drink bar with snacks. No idea on the pricing, since we didn’t order. The upper deck is nice for viewing but extremely windy. Make sure you bundle up and wear your mask. The captain gives you lots of great info and historical background on the Hudson, historical figures and major battles that took place in or around. His voice is soothing and pleasant. I gave it 3 stars. It was a pleasant trip but I wouldn’t do it again. The scenery is beautiful but It was more of a history lesson than anything else.

We took the cruise from Kingston Nov. 8. With such beautiful weather in November it was a great tour. We had a great time on the boat, staff was courteous, Covid precautions were clearly stated and adhered to, which made this a safe and fun activity!
