Great movies you won't get anywhere else in the area. Screens are small enough where there's no bad seat in the house. What we really need to talk about, though, is the food. Popcorn that you can get smothered in parmesean cheese and nutritional yeast? Where have you been all my life??

Fun local theater plays classic family movies at super affordable prices on Sunday afternoons. Food is reasonably priced and fresh. Our family is looking forward to returning again soon

Cleanliness is sometimes an issue. Most of the staff are pleasant and accommodating. Prices are comparable, but the theater is old and could use a face lift.

Enjoyed the theater. Went to see Parasite. Good sound. Seats comfortable. Refreshments adequate. Theater is clean. Staff very friendly.

It's very rare to find a theater like this, and cements Ithaca as a cultural haven. Whereas the local Regal offers more mainstream releases, Cinemapolis is the place to go for arthouse and indie cinema. It's located right on the Ithaca Commons, in the heart of the downtown area. They offer local-made sodas and house-made brownies and cookies, as well as a fantastic variety of popcorn flavorings. If you want a good dose of Ithaca, stop by and catch a flick here.
