Nice shop. Bruce is a very nice guy and very knowlegable with his stuff. I start scuba classes next weekend . So looking forward to it

I conducted a general online search to buy snorkeling equipment for a cruise I took last year. Upon entering the store it was neat, clean, and fully stocked with all sorts of water gear. I had no idea where to begin in purchasing snorkeling equipment. Although I do not recall the gentlemen's name who assisted me, nonetheless he was extremely pleasant and patient and Im sure he was well aware I was a rookie. The gentlemen (not going to call him an associate because he may have been the owner), was so kind. He showed me equipment in varying price ranges and broke down the difference in quality. He even gave me some tips on how to set up my googles before entering the water and how to keep them from fogging. Per his suggestion I decided to purchase some snorkeling gear and I was sooo happy I did. The gear was quality, light weight but still small enough to place in my carry on. The gear worked extremely well and I had a ball on my snorkeling adventure. If you are ever in the area and need some equipment to enjoy the water I would highly encourage you to stop by this shop.

Hi owner, I posted on the warehouses page & I’ll post here since I got a response. Read this post in it’s entirety but specifically see below starting after the next paragraph for the previous post.nnTo start off I received 2 responses that stated they don’t have a record of me in the store & noted the ratings of my reviews. Shame on you for conveniently “not finding” a record of my interaction & purchase. Also a proper review is necessary when a customer receives customer service that can only be described as egregious.nnThoroughly disheartened & disappointed in my experience with BOTH DipNDive stores.nnFirst, I called the wear house on 6020 N Bailey Ave. Suite 4A Buffalo, Ny & spoke with Adam. I explained what I needed, & over the phone he was courteous and accommodating, offered for me to come in & look through the wear house inventory since I needed a wetsuit ASAP. He made a note, & we scheduled for me to come in the next morning.nnAfter driving an hour and a half to store the next morning, when my mother and I arrived we were met with a face a shock, dismay, & almost horror. As we walked in, a Ukrainian man who’s name I forgot, looked as though he saw a ghost as we were entering the store. For the first 15 minutes he was stumbling over his works, and seemed out of his element and very uncomfortable talking to black women. About 20 minutes in he admitted he heard the conversation between Adam & I, so he knew to expect a person, with my exact name, to arrive & look through the selection they had. Not only did he not offer the services arranged over the phone call the day prior, he also neglected to offered any solution to my immediate need.nnSecond, I went over the the retail DipNDive store in hopes of a better experience & to find what I needed to take home that day. Unfortunately we suffered an even WORSE interaction. The large, I think blond, probably mid 60’s year old gentleman manning the shop was very standoffish and rude, almost irascible when I asked simple yet concise questions about the inventory, even though I knew exactly what I needed.nnThe worst, most DEGRADING, & INSULTING part of all came shortly after he finally “remembered” he might have something that would work, when we said we’ll take this one, he stuttered, looked at us oddly, and said “But this suit is $500, CAN YOU AFFORD THAT?” And then went on to ask us 4 times, in 3 different ways if we were sure we could actually afford the suit.nnSo much like the scene from Selena where she wants to buy a dress & the employee says “But that dress is $600...”nnDIPNDIVE STORE STANDARDS, EMPLOYEES, & ETHICS ARE BEYOND SUBPAR!nnSimply stated they are morally vacuous.nnANY PERSON OF COLOR, or any person with morals, or a hint of decency STAY AWAY from this company.

The staff is so supportive and are always helpful and willing to help. Great environment in the store. Their knowledge on the equipment is well above average and they try to give you as much of their knowledge as you can process. Overall best business I’ve been to in a while. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about going to go.

I took my certification class at dip and dive. I was very pleased at how thorough they were in the classes. They are very helpful and more then willing to guide you in the right direction in every aspect of diving. From gear to rentals to dive trips anything you need Chris and Bruce are wonderful. They are very accommodating and I will continue to keep my business with Dip and Dive for many years to come.nB Smock
