The judge wouldn’t hear my side of the case at all and I was force to plea out to something that I didn’t do. I wanted to go to trial they refused me that right. I went with my boyfriend to the court clerks office to have a different court date set for him for a speeding ticket because he will be out of town for the initial one. The judge was with the clerk and chimed in and said no he has to show up to that one or pay the fine now and that if he pleads not guilty that he can already tell him it won't go in his favor and his license will be suspended if he doesn't show. What ever happened to a fair trial? Pretty sure a judge can't tell someone that before they even have a chance to plea. I have never witnessed such a disgrace to the justice system. Safe to say we will be getting a lawyer to handle this now since he was treated with such disrespect and unfairness.
