We booked a private showing and had a great time. Clean, well maintained theater. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Concession prices much nicer than big chains.Our only complaint was it was a bit cold especially for indoors in winter.

Plaza Theater was an aging edifice that was easily once 10 stars but had declined dramatically over time.nThe new owners, as Crown City Cinemas, are working hard to bring it back to a glorious position in the community.

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel safe with their Covid protocols. We waited in the foyer for the family before us, and therefore had the Lobby and concession stand to ourselves when it was our turn. They cleaned the theatre before and after to keep things safe and sound. I can’t suggest a safe family outing to this theatre enough!

Great place to take the kids for a movie. COVID precautions are really great. Good work! Felt safe taking the family there for an little bit of normal.

During the Pandemic, Crown City Cinemas was nice enough to provide a community service of offering private viewings of movies. Even if you only went for a night, it made it feel like the world was back to normal; being able to take my family out safely for the night was a real blessing.nnNot only did the polite manager get back to me extremely quickly with information about the films, but the owner himself was helping with concessions.nnQuality screens and audio, as well as affordable concessions compared to larger theaters like Regal.nnPlease support your local small businesses, as this theater has been in our town for as long as I can remember, and the owner is a nice guy.
