The Jones is a wonderful library. It has a wonderful children's area with CCTV. (I am guessing to prevent child abduction)nUpstairs is a special collection area with an area to study.nThere is an area with computers and a printernThere are lots of scattered desks and chairs.nThey have a chess club for children and other activities.
My favorite place to visit any time of year! Helpful staff, regularly updated book displays, and lots of great resources. Not to mention, the building is gorgeous. Natural light pours into each room, making this library a comfortable place to read and work.
I didn't realize how great this library is until I moved away and none of the libraries in my new area could come close to matching it. Selection is quite broad (both in the library and through their app for ebooks and audio books) for books, movies, and audio. FANTASTIC kids area with many engaging and educational toys; pretty well separated, so you don't have to worry too much about kids wandering off; weekly sing along and weekly story time during the week, with frequent craft activities as well.
Rude and condescending service from both the front desk staff and the reference desk staff. The woman in charge of the reference desk was more interested in feeling superior than offering help to someone who needed it after the library itself made a mistake.
Love this library. I especially love the sunroom, the exhibits on the second floor, and the great services.
