Mercer County Library: Hopewell Branch

Always a pleasant experience. The staff are wonderful.

You need to display your open to close times here. I can't believe this vital piece of information was omitted! Also, the picture of the library from the front is somewhat deceiving, the fish eye lens should not have been used. I live less than a mile away and see the building every day and even I didn't recognize the picture till I really looked hard at it. Other than that, my experiences at this library have been outstandingly great! (I would've given a 5 star review instead of a 4 star review if it weren't for this simple oversight of such a vital and purely essential bit of such important information).

Says closes at 9. Librarians (last night, older white female librarian) keep trying to force me (minority) and my friend (who's black) out at 8:55 and before, trying to say that's when it's really closed. Claims that's what stores do, but that's not true. Hopefully not racist (we've only seen white staff), but even if not, if you say you open til 9, do that.

very very friendly branch of MCL. Staff is very helpful. And we feel cared for. Very nice and affectionate environment.
