SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City-South Jordan

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to! Stayed here for a good 2 months and it was perfect! The staff was always friendly and helped out, everything was clean and washed every day/night and they provide washers and dryers (you gotta pay with quarters tho). They even have a public pool and a gym!! (The gym is limited to 2 people only at a time and you have to clean the equipment with the spray cleaner and towels they provise there). Overall the room was great and it was honestly an awesome experience!

The absolute WORST experience I have EVER had, So bad I just called my attorney this morning, who will be contacting Kevin Ludlow and Graden Jackson, because I cannot let how badly we were treated go. Scolded by the front desk receptionist Daisy Latu for not checking in to my second reservation (which was already prepaid) fast enough, this is AFTER she came to my room to ask me about it. Threatened to call police and tell them I refuse to check in (again, room was prepaid so why wouldn't I want to check in?), calling my husband my "boyfriend" because someone put his last name in wrong, literally yelling at me pushing and pushing. It was the strangest thing I've ever seen. I travel a lot, I cannot count the hotels we have stayed in. We are Gold Elite members because of how much we travel, never in my life have we been treated this way. I felt discriminated against for being fair skinned and blonde, and that is not even an exaggeration. The manager was called, she came in, and it got even worse. Again, we are fair skinned and had to deal with a Samoan and African American, don't tell me that was a coincidence to be treated that way. Told my husband we needed to leave and weren't welcome, told him to tell his wife to learn how to make "bookings" correctly, and thankfully we have most of it recorded as well as the hotel cameras that they stupidly pointed out saying doing worry we have cameras....YES, you do! And what you did was just recorded. Oh, and this all happened with several people in the lobby AND my 3 year old son... Again, contacted our attorney already, that's how bad this was. Horrible place, and I'm still shocked, never in my life have I been treated that way, EVER. Good job Utah, you certainly don't disappoint 👏 👍🏻

Needed a little stay-cation during this whole pandemic and this was the best deal I could find near me. Also, this hotel is one of the only hotels near me who still has their amenities like pool and gym available during the pandemic, and that was super important to me. Overall, the room was very clean and my only complaint is the pool wasnt very clean. There were clumps of hair all over the pool and it was pretty unpleasant to dodge them while chilling in there. The hot tub, however, was very clean. The only amenity that they're not really doing right now is their breakfast, but I never really took advantage of that stuff anyway. They also don't have daily housekeeping anymore unless you've checked out. If you need extra towels or linens they are available at the front desk. Overall a great experience! Definitely would book again!
