A nice little Roman Catholic Church. Well maintained on the outside and appeared to have some remodeling being done inside as the ceiling tiles were down. Interestingly, this church has not had AC power for quite a while judging from the appearance of the power connections missing. The grounds are well maintained. The ‘flowers’ found on the ground was indicative that some ceremonies were still performed there.nnThe cemetery was interesting in that you could see family names that might look familiar as you drive around the country side. Oh yes.. There is a ‘snake’ warning sign. We did find a fairly long snake skin on one of the grave sites.nnIt was fun just to see this classic, old church in the ghost town of Montrose.

Small well kept church in the middle of nowhere. Really makes you feel the remoteness of this area. Hard to believe there were ever enough people around here to fill the cemetery next to the church.
