Fly Lugu is by far the best flight school in Western Mass. The school has highly experienced, dedicated instructors that share a common goal. The airplanes at Fly Lugu are top notch, clean, and nicely equipped, ready for any stage of learning. The instructors are highly experienced and are willing to do ANYTHING to get a student through a challenge that may be presented. I would highly recommend Fly Lugu to anybody that is interested in learning how to fly!
I may be biased but doesn’t change the fact that this business is a true success story. FLY LUGU was founded by Rika Ballard out of pure passion and dedication of wanting to see others chase their dreams and succeed. Rika, or Re, is a second generation pilot who developed the love for flying at a young age by flying with her father. She flew until her son was born and had to put it on hold while she raised him. After many years and various management roles she finally called it quits on the office life and made the leap of faith to venture off on her own and become a CFI. After 1+ year she accomplished that task with flying colors and Fly LUGU was born. She is a tenacious woman who is determined to see others succeed in the same manner that she did. If you live in the Pioneer Valley and have EVER thought of pursuing getting your pilots license I highly recommended taking flight with Fly LUGU!!
